Yougardener Flowers Show reaches its third edition with some confirmations and several novelties. The suggestive park of over 8 hectares of Villa Craven di Seyssel d'Aix in Varese will always be the backdrop for the market exhibition of plants and flowers, the eighteenth-century residence designed by the architect Giuseppe Bianchi in the heart of the Garden City, exceptionally open to the public .
After the success of the last editions which saw the participation of over 5000 people, the spring
edition, created with the patronage of the Municipality of Varese, is brought forward to the weekend of 18-19 April 2020; the most suitable month to rethink how to set up
the garden or terrace in view of the summer. The public will in fact be able to purchase and ask for advice directly from the nurserymen producers selected by Yougadener.com
(the specialized marketplace of the best Italian nurseries) who will be present with their articles and the advantage of a competitive price from 10 to 19 in the two days producer to consumer.
The number of stands is increasing, which in this edition is enriched with some curious novelties such as the refined garden clocks or the innovative structures for vertical gardens. Therefore, not only plants and flowers, but also garden furniture and a wide range of gardening products and equipment.
Among the numerous varieties on display, which could hardly be found in a common store, you can admire and buy: herbaceous,
roses, hydrangeas, organic aromatic, carnivorous, aquatic, cactus and succulents, unusual shrubs, acidophilic, citrus, tropical.
Very different from a fair or market where the large number of exhibitors does not necessarily demonstrate the quality of the event, Yougardener Flower Show is proposed as a pleasantly usable event, rich in content and details to be discovered both for fans and for those approaching to this world for the first time.
Confirmed the collateral events, which are increasingly successful among the public, such as workshops, workshops and attractions for adults and children. Among the novelties the laboratory with one of the most important Italian "botanical influencers" Simonetta Chiarugi of About Garden.
In the stand of the garden designer Francesco Fedelfio it will also be possible to have a free consultation for the design of your garden and the choice of the most suitable plants.
After the great success in the last edition, the experience of guided visits to the park of Villa Craven is repeated and doubled. The visit to the park therefore becomes an experience between history, nature and the wonders of flowering plants.
The area dedicated to ponies and sheep is confirmed for the little ones, with the possibility of trying to ride these cute small horses for free, and many outdoor activities and games
For lunchtime and throughout the day, Yougardener Flower Show offers a large food and relaxation area with live music under the great centennial beech. Excellent Street Food that enhances the taste and attention to nature. Outdoor tables for a classy picnic and relaxation areas for snacks and coffee in style.
The starting idea of Yougardener co-founder Pietro Bruni is confirmed to bring together all the partner nurseries with the aim of bringing people, and children in particular, closer to environmental culture and botany through a unique experience such as Yougardener Flower Show.

Yougardener Flower Show will be one more occasion to remember the idea behind Yougardener: “In an increasingly urban world, Yougardener aims to transmit love for nature to adults and children and spread botanical culture and multiplicity especially in the gardens, to make Italy return to being, as Goethe called it, the garden of Europe ".
Despite being in the city center, the villa is immersed in a vast property of over 8 hectares. The noble residence was built in 1770 for Antonio Molinari, Marquis of Siziano and Mettore and designed by the architect Giuseppe Bianchi, who only four years earlier had built Palazzo Estense, today Varese City Hall. In 1870 the house was purchased by Lord Walter Craven (1836-1894), a relative of the
King of England George IV. Lord Craven, great lover of our country, had married the Countess Elisa Oldofredi from Brescia.
Having purchased the residence in Varese, he dedicated himself to its complete restoration and the setting of the current park and settled there with his wife from whom he had three children. Upon their death, the property passed to their first Marquis cousins of Seyssel d’Aix whose grandchildren still own it.
THE BUILDING: The interior, closed to the public and still used as a summer residence, is decorated with frescoes on the ceilings and embellished with architectural squares, period furnishings and carved mirrors. Of great interest is the Chinese hall, on two floors, so called by the paper and silk upholstery with oriental motifs that runs along the entire hall on the first floor, interspersed with stuccos and mirrors. On the third floor of the villa there is a small chapel with frescoed walls and ceiling.
THE PARK In addition to the presence of an Italian garden built with boxwood bushes that opens on one side of the villa, the immense property, which extends for 89,000 square meters, crossed by avenues and paths, is English with small woods and large meadows, some of which were once planted with vineyards. There are two greenhouses and also barns, stables and farms
